DF65 Racing Results 1-Nov'23

After an enforced layoff of 2 months due to the Lake being closed because of Blue-Green Algae, 6 sailors arrived in advance of storm Ciarán for the fist race in the Nov-Dec series and found that most of the buoys had been blown to the Northerly edge of the lake. Luckily, there were enough for Chris to set a course of 4/B, 7, O, 0, 7, B, 0, 4/B catering for the mainly fresh SSW wind. Some rain fell, gusts came and went, Dale started with an "A" rig and changed to A+ and John Smith had a transmitter failure (and was also delayed on arrival owing to a lorry crash on the M27).
