DF65 Racing Results 7-Feb'23

I am indebted to Julyan for providing the scoresheet, course details and narrative.

9 skippers attended the 5th round of the Jan-Feb series in light NE winds which included a couple of light showers. Chris set course "A" as 8/B, O, 4, 7, R, O, 4, 7, R, 4/A and this was used until the break. Afterwards course "B" was used: 8/B, O, 7, R, O, 7, R, 4/A and nine heats were raced. The light winds provided some close racing and tricky beating especially to both wing marks, and turns could prove expensive.

Those on the podium today were:

1st - J Bennett (002)

2nd - R Brydges (33)

3rd - C Wilson (06)

Congratulations to them.

Best wishes,

Bruce
