IOM 12th May'23

Eight skippers turned out to race metre boats today. The temporary bo'sun set out to remove

a semi-inflated mark on in the fairway, and later got some practice in freeing a boat from #4 mark. The NNE breeze steadily increased after race three. The moderns (as in design models) fared well through the top-of-A-rig conditions, the classics perhaps not so well. Course 'A', minus #1 mark gave us :- Start 4/8 - Zero - (3 - 6 - 7) x 2 - Fin' 8/ OR

Good sailing was enjoyed by all, passers-by included. The Top Trio on points:

1st Place - #63 RD, 2nd - #80 JB, 3rd - #-3 RH.
