IOM 1st April

Good to see all the boats perform to their best advantage, in extreme conditions. Chris' foresight to swap down to B suit may have helped pick up a place or two, certainly interesting to compare how both types of rig faired in the blows on the wind as well as off it.

More or less westerly breezes greeted the eight competitors who turned out to sail this fifth race in the "spring-board" IOM series. The R.O. set out course 'A' which stood the test of all nine races:
