IOM 24th February 2023

Nine competitors braved the elements, the which included a locally variable

NNW breeze, on a course starting 5/Yellow, encompassing mark #'s 2, 7, OB,

2, 7, OB, finishing between 5/ 8. A port tack bias and perpendicular transit could

make for a tricky perspective for at least one skipper, (ahem! ed :), what to speak of

navigating cleanly around the windward mark - #2. A slightly earlier morning break

gave some welcome relief before the ensuing 5 races in some equally welcome pressure!

A virtual goose-wing-flapping the top trio:- 1st Place - #47 MR, 2nd - #15 RD, 3rd - #06 CW.

The January - February '23 Series Honours Trophy - perhaps a virtual Antique Glass Capstain - could go to..............

1st Place - #06 Chris Wilson, runners up: 2nd - #'s 80/ 66 John Bennett, 3rd - #15 Rob Dyer.

Look forward to seeing you next month for the Spring Series!
