IOM 2nd February 2024 Race 5

More or less westerly breezes greeted the eight competitors who turned out to sail this fifth race in the "spring-board" IOM series. The R.O. set out course 'A' which stood the test of all nine races:-

              Start 3/OB - 8 - 7 - W(0) - 4 - 7 - W(0) - Fin' 4/ OR.

Getting ahead of the fleet was never a sure thing at any stage of racing, neither was catching up. As ever, consistency paid off as results tell the tale. The Sun shone through broken cloud, warming all comers including spectators and visiting wild fowl.

     Top trio on points:- 1st Place - #85 TR; 2nd - #06 CW; 3rd - #16 JR.
