IOM 30th June '23 Race 9

Seven Stalwart skippers turned out to sail in morning's final IOM event of the May-June series. Helmsmen were met by a welcome, moderate breeze over the length of the lake.

The course sailed: Start 2/WZ - 4 - (7-OB-WZ-1) x 2 Fin' 4/Y.

Plenty of tactical opportunities there were, to be taken or missed, on every point of sailing, up-wind and down. In top of 'A' rig conditions, excellent, if not spectacular racing was surely enjoyed by all, passers-by included.

Top trio today on points:- 1st Place - #80 JB, 2nd - #96 MT, 3rd - #06 CW.

The Series Honours:- 1st Place - #63 RD, 2nd - #80 JB, 3rd - #06 CW
