A wet and windless morning attracted 8 sailors to Lakeside and I would like to thank Maurice for attending and recording the scoring. A pre-race was held before 10.00, but as I turned up late (9.50) it wasn't scored. After some initial enthusiasm and expectation of a rising wind strength, Chris reduced the course to 3/R, M, Y, 4/8. Many thanks to Roger for supplying today's racing details. An overcast, dry but chilly morning greeted nine DF65 skippers accompanied by a NE breeze of 5-8 knots (except when it wasn’t). The start line between 6 and Brown was as true as you’re ever likely to get and gave some good first leg beats to Big Orange.
