There was little if any of the forecast NW breeze at first although it did rise a little during the morning. Chris set a course of M/O, 1, P, O, 1, P, 3/R and 8 heats were held. 9 skippers attended Lakeside looking forward to the forecast 7kt breeze. In the event, it seemed more like 0.7kt at times leading to a rather frustrating morning. The intended course was changed twice before racing started in an attempt (not fully realised) to include a beat.
