DF65 Results 9 Nov'22

11 skippers arrived expecting a fairly constant SW-W wind increasing from 10kn through the morning. In practice we had a gusty SW wind which was variable in direction and strength and decreased as the morning progressed.

The initial course of two triangles: OB/W, 4, 8, O, 3, 8, O, OB/W was lengthened by

substituting Y for 8 in both laps as the races were not taking long enough.

The three skippers who managed the conditions to their advantage the best were: 1st-J Bennett (002), 2nd-C Wilson (06) and 3rd-J Richardson (43).

Congratulations to them.

Best wishes,

Bruce
