IOM 20th December Race 8

Seven stalwart skippers came to Lakeside to sail their IOM class RC yachts

this fine morning. A SW breeze provided inspiration for 'A' course:-


    Start 2/1 - 7 - Ob(wing) - 1 - Bo - 7 - Ob - 1 - Fin' 8/ Or.


Close racing focused the mind as well as the fleet throughout eight races.

#03 came off the water in race 5 with a standing rigging issue.


Top trio on points:- 1st Place - #16 JR; 2nd - #63 IW; 3rd - #85 TR.

Racing Results 5-Aug'26

A sunny but cooler than recent (20°C) morning invited 8 sailors to compete in the 6th round of the Jul-Aug series. The wind was nominally NW 11kt, but varied constantly both in strength and direction.
