A welcome breeze greeted a nine-strong fleet to the start of the day's IOM race event. Three courses were tried and tested:-
'A': P/Ob - (1-2-Or-5-7) x 2 - Bo/Or. (4 races).
'B': " - (1-5-6) x 2 - " . (1 Race).
'C': " - (1-wz-5-6-Ob-4) x 2 - wz/ Or. ((3 races),'wz' for last two)).
The Sou'easter veered somewhat, hence the change of course(s) after the break. A steady wind increase made for fast sailing and focused competition.
The rescue boat was called out to release #71 from the west bank,
and continued with the laying of two new course marks - Orange (South) and Yellow (North).
(BTW - a scorer's prerogative may appear to have been implemented, without any effect to the overall finishing positions).
