IOM 25th April Race 8 Final

The ESE/ SE breeze enabled full use of the lake with CW's corrected course 'A':-

P/Ob - (Or/p-4/p-6/p-7/p-5/s) x 2 -  1/ Or; (where p and s are port-hand and starboard-hand marks respectively).

Our invited guest, Nick took the helm of TR's newly restored blue V9 - '71B' for four races. Results reflect close racing with tight, fleet finishes over the lengthy circuit. Sail numbers 33 and 06 shared the sum of line honours. All told there were seven windward stretches over one race including the initial fetch: Start to Or. A taxing course was well rewarded by a great morning's racing.

Today's "Top-Knots" are:- 1st Place - #06 CW(7); 2nd - #33 RB(11); 3rd -#28 IW(13).

Series Honours go to:- 1stPlace - #06 CW(8); 2nd - #28 IW(12); 3rd - #33 RB(18).

Thank you all for taking part and for supporting the club's IOM Friday race
