IOM 30th May Race 5

Nine IOM skippers sailed eight races in light S.W. breezes. Competitors tooks turns to marshall the starts. Chris chose a triangular course:- 2/ Or - (p-7-1) x2 - 4/8. Gauging windward angles to the marks Pink and #7 concentrated minds ashore. Downwind advantages were perhaps less prevalent than those to be gained upwind, all of which helped to stretch out the fleet. Ian's #28 consistently found her way close to the front. Wins were shared by the top three helms of the day:- Ian-3, Roger-1 and Rob-4. 

1st Place - IW #28(9); 2nd-RB #33(13); 3rd-RD #43(14).
