IOM 12th July Race 2

Six worthy competitors turned out to sail this second round of the month series. A good NNE breeze covered the lake right to the south bank. Course 'A':- 8/OB - (1-6-7-) x 2 Fin' 3/OR.

Close fleet racing with long legs up-wind and down. #06's skipper freed #81 from the mark 7 with a swift board manoeuvre to leeward. Derek's onboard chandlery facilitated #16's rig change in the break. John's Kantun won the day with six line honours; leaving #06 and #16 to pick up one each.


Top three on points:- 1st Place - #53 JS; 2nd - #06 CW; 3rd - #16 JR
