Racing Results 22-Jul'26

6 sailors arrived at Lakeside to compete in the 4th round of the Jul-Aug series. The weather was warm and the wind light, although somewhat variable in direction providing some interesting approaches to buoys. Chris initially set a course of R/3, P, R, M, P, R/3 which was extended by replacing P by Y laid between P and 7 and with the wind picking up a little, 11 heats were raced.


Those on the podium today were:


1st - M Harcourt (16)

2nd - B Ryde-Weller (22)

3rd - I White (24)


Well done to them and to all for an enjoyable morning's sail.

A sunny but cooler than recent (20°C) morning invited 8 sailors to compete in the 6th round of the Jul-Aug series. The wind was nominally NW 11kt, but varied constantly both in strength and direction.
