IOM 17th January Race 3

Light breezes and cloudy skies greeted five IOM competitors to Lakeside today.

Sailing got underway at 1015. Ian set a course engaging two temporary race marks 'Or' and 'Ob'; course 'A':-  Bo/ Or - (7-Or-wz) x 2 P/ Ob. Uniquely race #6 was sailed around course 'B': Bo/Or - (7-Or-3) x 2 P/Ob. The predicted SSE wind veered and backed on occasion during the morning, gradually increasing in strength by close of play. Racing was close.

Top three on points:- 1st Place - #16 JR(11); 2nd - #44 BRW(12); 3rd - #06 CW(14).
