IOM 21st June Race 8

Seven stalwart sailors turned out to race the 8th round of the midsummer series. Light breezes started the fleet off with long races on shortened and varied versions of the same basic course:-

BO/OR 7-1-P-1- 8/OB.

Some tricky sailing in patches with lots of between-race rig-trimming. During and after a well-earned break there was an increase in wind strength preceded by a short, dramatic squall from the South-West.

Top knotch helms:- 1st Place - #43 RD; 2nd - #63 IW; 3rd - #06 CW.
