IOM 27th June Race 9 Final

A decent breeze, nine stalwart competitors and a course: 3/OG - (7-1-2) x 2 -P/OB: a simple yet far from straightforward course.  Boats were more or less concentrated at the inshore star-line mark for an ever-hoped for windward edge. First boats round the southern buoy had to face a gauntlet of boats beating towards them to #7, on starboard tack. Once downwind and round marks 1 and 2, the adventurous crept up the leeward back hoping for a lift to port before deciding to tack, only to be bereft of  breeze.

Today's winners:- 1st Place - #43 RD; 2nd - #30 CS; 3rd - #85 TRS.

Series Honours:- 1st Place - #28 IW; 2nd - #85TRS; 3rd - #06 CW.
