IOM 28th March Race 4

A fresh, at times squally breeze was tempered by that welcome Sunshine. Six competitors plied their RC yachts around CW's two lap course:-

6/ Ob - (1-2-7-wing) x 2 - B0/ Or.

The start-line angle left helms to figure out whether or not to risk a windward port tack advantage, potentially allowing inshore, leeward boats (on starboard tack) to take an early lead. The leg from #1 to #2 buoy always demanded good vision and quick reflexes. Top of 'A' rig sailing prevailed right up to the Midday "bell" and just beyond.

Three winners on points:- 1st Place - #28 IW(10); 2nd - #06 CW(13); 3rd - #33 RB(19).
