A promising NNE'ly heralded seven competitors to the start of racing today. Course A held for 4 races up to 11s':- p/ob - 3 - 7 - (1-3-or) x 2 - wz/1. Races 5-9 were sailed over a B course:- p/ob - 3 - 7 - wz - 3 - 7 - bo/or. Race leaders clearly had their rigs well set and their eye on the ball, as the breeze later inclined to throw the fleet a curved one or three as midday approached. #03 took an astonishing five line honours, the remainder going to #85 with two - #06 and #63 one apiece. The rescue boat stayed ashore thanks to #85's manoeuvre to clear a boat from mark 8's anchor line.
