IOM 3rd May Race 1

A mild Sou'westerly breeze kept four competitors focussed on sailing their metre yachts around course 'A' and then 'B' after mark #8 was dropped in favour of beating straight upwind to #7. Close racing was was enjoyed throughout the morning, keeping contenders and passing observers entertained, if not absorbed. First places were had by all at least once.

             

Top trio on points:- 1st Place - #16 JR; 2nd - #06 CW; 3rd - #53 JS.
