IOM 29th March Race 5

Six IOM helmsmen turned out to race their boats in breezy conditions. Rigs were soon changed from 'A' to 'B' or 'Top' to 'Working' across the fleet bar one. Five boats ready to sail, #55 requiring a mast mod., her skipper kindly volunteered to record boats across the finish line for all nine races.

          The course:- Start BO/OR -7-w-3-7-w-1- Fin' 8/OB

There were many and varied strategic paths to windward objectives, and several downwind, with all yachts reaching max' hull speed time and again.

    Top points trio:- 1st Place - #06 CW; 2nd - #85 TR; 3rd - #16 JR.
