IOM 7th February Race 6

A moderate Nor'easter breeze welcomed seven competitors to this morning's IOM event at Lakeside.

        One main course lasted for the 9-race duration:- p/o - or-3-6-7-or-3-6 - bo/0r.

Three boats had experienced varying degrees of rig issues, as evidenced by the results.

The long downwind leg from mark #3 to #6, gave the five 'A' - rigged yachts occasion to approach their maximum hull speed, and ne'er a broach among them.

Fine sailing weather, good company and thanks to Ian - some very useful rigging line

     Top o'the morning:- 1st Place - #43 RD(9); 2nd - #85 TRS(13); 3rd-#16 JR(19).
