IOM 8th August Race 6

Five IOM RC yacht skippers brought their boats to Lakeside. JR brought a home-grown "Lakeside-compliant" sign, (12 1/2"x 21 1/2"). Possibly "what the dickens was the wind doing?" - a tale of two breezes: a warm southerly and a cool one from 'del norte'? Anyway, an apparently simple windward/ Leeward course and every combination thereof translated into some tactical (if not always fast) racing.

Course A:- N.Pier/ Big O - (7 - 1) x 2 - 4/8.

All were winners for getting out to enjoy another dry and warm club-hosted event, complete with a steady flow of passing interest.

Top on points today:- 1st Place - #85 TRS(11); 2nd - #16 JR(11); 3rd -#28 IW(13).
