Racing Results 1-Jul'26

6 skippers arrived at Lakeside for the first round of the Jul-Aug series to find that the yellow buoy had disappeared and the pink one had been lifted and put in the reeds. Lakeside management have been informed. The wind was variable both in direction and strength and the chosen course of P/M, !, 3, 7, B, 7, 4/Left side pier was based on a north westerly, which was more prevalent at the top end of the course. The light breeze restricted the morning to 6 heats, some of which had very close finishes. #43 had gremlins and was replaced by #09, but scored as #43 and managed to win by virtue of having one more 1st place than #06 with the same margin separating 2nd and 3rd.

The top three were:

1st - J Richardson (13)

2nd - C Wilson (13)

3rd - M Harcourt (13)

Best wishes,

Bruce
