My thanks to Roger for providing the sailing details.

Nine skippers assembled at the lake in absolutely windless conditions that showed no sign of improving by 10 o’clock. After a couple of shorter races, the wind filled in sufficiently to allow a good course to be set from a line comprising a laid mark and 4. Pink was the windward mark before a run/reach to yellow followed by a reach to 3 then a beat back to pink. After that, the lap was completed as before with Mustard and Pink being the finish line. By 11 o’clock the wind was settled and in all, six races were able to be completed with four different winners. 84 developed an electrical gremlin just before race 5 and ended up visiting the reeds on the far bank necessitating a salvage operation.

1st - I White (14)

2nd - R Brydges (14)

3rd - N Tattersall (18)

Best wishes,

Bruce
