Racing Results 15-Jul'26

My thanks to Roger for the details of the sailing.

An omnishambles on the road network and accompanying gridlock restricted the fleet to five hardy souls. There was a spirited breeze from the N/NE that, after a little adjustment gave a reasonable beat from 8 to Big Orange. Some wipeouts were endured on the run down to 6 which allowed a bit of catching up to be done by those who had made a dog’s breakfast of the upwind legs. 33 was sporting a new suit of sails, the haste with which they had been rigged becoming evident when various bits of rigging came adrift at certain points! Ian and Chris dominated the top step of the podium but a good morning’s racing was had by all.

Best wishes,

Bruce
