Racing Results 2-Sep'26

Many thanks to Roger for again supplying the details of today's racing.

Eleven skippers gathered at the lakeside which was just starting to show a bit of greening following the recent rain. The water level was, however, still low water Springs. The first event of meteorological autumn required the adding and removal of layers given the distinct chill in the air.

A spirited southerly breeze gave a beat from the start which was between a laid mark and 3, to 8. From there a short reach to Pink was followed by a run down to 1 and then onto the second lap.

There were places to be made and lost on the beats which kept everyone on their toes. All in all it was one of the better mornings of sailing to have taken place recently.

On the podium today are:

1st - C Salter (10)

2nd - C Wilson (26)

3rd - J Bennett (27)

Best wishes,

Bruce
