A cold, sunny and calm morning greeted 11 skippers eager to sail the 3rd round of the Nov-Dec series. The wind slowly increased until at the end there was almost a hint of sub-marining, but, of course, the lulls were ever present to catch those unlucky enough to be rounding a buoy at the time. Chris set a short course to start with 8/A,1, 3, P, B/Y, but the final course was 8/A, 0, B, P, 0, B, P, B/Y and 10 heats were raced.

Those on the podium today were:

1st - C Wilson (20)

2nd - J Bennett (22)

3rd - R Dyer (29)

Well done to them!

Best wishes,

Bruce

The sunshine welcomed 12 skippers eager to compete in the second race of the Nov-Dec series and Chris set a course of 8/P, 0, 8, 7, A, 8, 7, 8/P, which enabled 9 heats to be raced. The wind was generally more constant than is often the case although lulls particularly when approaching the windward buoys caused a certain amount of frustration and shifts on the last beat enabled places to be often lost or gained.

The top points scorers today were:

1st - J Richardson (17)

2nd - C Wilson (18)

3rd - R Brydges (23)

Congratulations to them!

Best wishes,

Bruce
