Racing Results 1-Jul'26

6 skippers arrived at Lakeside for the first round of the Jul-Aug series to find that the yellow buoy had disappeared and the pink one had been lifted and put in the reeds. Lakeside management have been informed. The wind was variable both in direction and strength and the chosen course of P/M, !, 3, 7, B, 7, 4/Left side pier was based on a north westerly, which was more prevalent at the top end of the course. Racing Results 24-Jun'26

Many thanks again to Roger for providing today's racing details. Blazing heat and a decomposing rat on the grass near the middle bench greeted a brave triumvirate of skippers for the final heat of the May/June series. The breeze was roughly north and at times provided for a nice steady sail. A long start line was established between Pink and 6 and after experimenting with 4 as a windward mark, Big Orange was used, followed, again after some experimentation, by 6 and then 7.
