DF65 28th June '23 Race 9

Warm weather and possibly trying conditions were enjoyed by all during this,

the last of the May-June series of nine races. Sailing was preceded by a some

buoy cleaning at the lakeside; the first race started on the button at 1000hrs.

Where BO=big orange, OB=orange and black, W0Z=white/0/Zero and Y=yellow,

the course could be described thus:- W0Z/1 Start - (4 - OB - W0Z) x 1 or 2 Fin BO/Y.

There were plenty of position changes as the breezes ebbed and flowed, from the first

leg to the last. On behalf of EDMBC Sailing, thank you to all series' participants; looking forward to seeing your boats on the water during the fast approaching July-August Series.

Top three today on points: 1st Place - #02 JB, 2nd - #43 JR, 3rd - #25 RD.

Series Podium Honours: 1st Place - #02 JB, 2nd - #43 JR, 3rd - #28 IW.
