DF65 Racing Results 1-Oct'25

I thank Roger for providing the details of today's racing:


Seven skippers disregarded the forecast calm conditions to assemble at the lake to be greeted by……calm conditions. A simple out and back course was set from a start/finish line formed by 3 and a laid mark inshore near the jetty. The first four races were mostly torturous drifts and the coffee break was roundly welcomed. A bit of breeze filled in from SSE during the break so the course was extended to take in the yellow mark and a second lap. This led to some good racing with only the occasional calm raft-up.

Racing Results 5-Aug'26

A sunny but cooler than recent (20°C) morning invited 8 sailors to compete in the 6th round of the Jul-Aug series. The wind was nominally NW 11kt, but varied constantly both in strength and direction.
