Many thanks to Roger for supplying today's racing details.
An overcast, dry but chilly morning greeted nine DF65 skippers accompanied by a NE breeze of 5-8 knots (except when it wasn’t). The start line between 6 and Brown was as true as you’re ever likely to get and gave some good first leg beats to Big Orange. Then it was downwind to 4 and the 7 followed closely by a spreader mark after a few close quarters collision avoidances were necessary in the first race. Then it was up to Big Range and round again. The racing was overseen, unusually, by a shag or cormorant (opinions varied) perched in one of the higher trees on the opposite bank. Eight races were able to be sailed and some excellent competition was had by all.
Toady's top three were:
1st - J Bennett (8)
2nd - R Brydges (10)
3rd - J Richardson (16)
Best wishes,
Bruce
