DF65 Racing Results 22-Mar-23

An overcast sky and pleasant SW breeze welcomed 11 sailors to the 4th round of the March-April series. Chris set a course of 0/2, 4, T, Y, 0, 4, T, Y, 0, 8/R. (T being tangerine with black stripes).

As the morning drew on the sun came out and the wind strengthened allowing 10 heats to be raced with some close finishes. Gusts prevailed over calms and made rounding the windward buoy hazardous at times.

Those who avoided the pitfalls best were:

1st - J Richardson (43)

2nd - R Dyer (25)

3rd - J Bennett (002)

Congratulations to them and to all for a very enjoyable morning's sailing.

Best wishes,

Bruce
