Racing Results 17-Jun'26

Many tanks to Roger for providing today's racing details.

Nine skippers convened under overcast skies and with a fitful wind from, largely, the south-south west. A course was laid with a start line from yellow to 2 and pink as the first mark. Then a run/broad reach back to yellow followed by a close reach to 3. Then it was back to Pink, Yellow and then a finish between Mustard and Pink. The breeze grew slowly as the morning progressed and in the second half, following the routine hydration break, the boats were often fully powered up. Ten races were able to be sailed. 33 staged a reinactment of his IOM buoy-hooking routine from the previous Friday in race 5, and 90 suffered a power failure for the last two races. Good fun had by all.

1st - I White (19)

2nd - A Smith (20)

3rd - R Brydges (20)

Best wishes,

Bruce
