8 sailors basked in the sunshine and gentle SW breeze before embarking on the 9th and final race of the Sep-Oct series. The course was set as Y/1, P, R, Y, P, R, Y, 4/R and 9 heats were raced. The wind did rise a little during the morning, but continued to be variable in both direction and strength providing challenges particularly on the beat from Y to P. There were frequent holes around R and the finish line was often hard to cross. Those who crossed it more often near the front this week were:


1st - C Wilson (12)

2nd - C Salter (22)

3rd - B Ryde-Weller (23)


Consistently at the front for the series were:


1st - C Wilson (11)

2nd - I White (16)

3rd - R Brydges (21)


Well done to them and to all 15 sailors who took part in the series.
