DF65 Racing Results 22 Nov'23

12 skippers turned up more in hope than expectation with a wind which fell into the "smoke rising vertically" category. Chris set a short course and the first heat was completed just within the 15 minute time limit set. Heat 2 was not and was abandoned. Coffee was had and from then on the wind rose a little enabling 6 heats to be raced in all, some 1 lap some 2.

Those who managed to get to the finishing line more quickly than the others were:

1st - J Richardson (43)

2nd - R Dyer (25)

3rd - J Bennett (002)

Congratulations to them and thanks to J Smith for recording the places after his boat suffered a rudder servo failure in heat 3.

Best wishes,

Bruce
