DF65 Racing Results 24-Apr'24

12 skippers arrived on a cool overcast morning to contest the final round of the Mar-Apr series. In a light N breeze, Chris set a course of 8/A, B, 8, P, Q, B, 8, P, B/R.

Single race observers were set for each race and those races were scored as an average of their other races (1 decimal place displayed). Whilst the breeze picked up a little and sailing was at times brisk, holes, particularly round "B" and near the finish caused a number of position changes.

Those on the podium today are:

1st - J Bennett (14.6)

2nd - C Wilson (16)

3rd - R Dyer (22.1)

The top three for the series are:

1st - C Wilson (9)

2nd - J Bennett (12)

3rd - J Richardson (17)

Well done to all for an enjoyable morning's sail and also to R Dyer, A Dore and C Forman who competed in very cold weather in the Nationals last weekend.

Best wishes,

Bruce
