DF65 Racing Results 10-April'24

12 skippers travelled to Lakeside in warm sunshine only to be greeted with gathering clouds and rising wind with the possibility (realised) of rain later.

Undeterred, Chris set a course of B/R, P, Q, 0, 8, P, Q, 0, B/R which enabled 10 heats of exciting racing. After the break the wind rose sufficiently, for there to be a number of broaches, submarining and "stuck in irons" events which enabled places to be lost with ease.

Those who used the conditions to their advantage the best were:

1st - R Dyer(16)

2nd - J Bennett(24)

3rd - J Richardson(28)

Well done to them and to all for an enjoyable morning.

Best wishes,

Bruce
