DF65 Racing Results 27-Sep'25

7 skippers attended the 3rd round of the Sep-Oct series as did a gusting SW F4. After some debate A+ rigs were used, but at times boats were totally overwhelmed. Chris set a course of 4/R, M, A, Y, 1, M, A, Y, 1, 4/R, which was lengthened at the break to 3/V, M, A, Y, 1, M, A, Y, 1, P/R and 10 heats were raced.

002 suffered a rig failure in the last heat, but still managed to win the day by a fair margin, the podium being:

1st - J Bennett (12)

2nd - R Brydges (17)

3rd - I White (25)

Well done to them and to all for managing to keep their hats on throughout.

Best wishes,

Bruce
