DF65 Racing Results 28-Feb'24

11 skippers arrived to compete in the final round of the Jan-Feb series. Chris set a course of O/Q, 8, P, 0, 1, 8, P, 0, 1, 4/B. As soon as he had set it the wind dropped to almost nothing and continued to be very fickle all morning. We managed 7 heats, so 1 discard and those on the podium were:

1st - R Dyer (11)

2nd - J Bennett (13)

3rd - C Forman (14)

The final podium for the series is:

1st - J Bennett (15)

2nd - C Wilson (15)

3rd - R Dyer (23)

John wins on countback.

Congratulations to them and to all 16 skippers who took part in the series. It was good to see Maurice Craft who came not with his boat but his camera. Photos attached.
