DF65 Racing Results 29-Jan'25

12 sailors assembled at Lakeside for the 3rd race to be sailed in the Jan'Feb series. The wind as agonisingly light, coming mainly from an Easterly direction. Chris initially set a short course of B/A, P, R, B/A (dashed on the diagram) and suggested we had a non-series lap to try it out. We used it for 1 race and then it was changed and lengthened to B/A, 1, 8, B/A and held for 4 more heats. Boat 51 suffered a battery problem at the beginning so John was unfortunately just a spectator.


Chris clearly was on fire and won all bar one of the heats. The complete podium was:


1st - C Wilson (4)

2nd - J Richardson (13)

3rd - B Ryde-Weller (13)
