DF65 Racing Results 29-Oct'25

Updated: Nov 4

A wet and windless morning attracted 8 sailors to Lakeside and I would like to thank Maurice for attending and recording the scoring. A pre-race was held before 10.00, but as I turned up late (9.50) it wasn't scored. After some initial enthusiasm and expectation of a rising wind strength, Chris reduced the course to 3/R, M, Y, 4/8. There were groundings, hook ups and 622 suffered a rudder malfunction.

Those who found the wind in their benefit were:

1st - C Wilson (8)

2nd - J Bennett (9)

3rd - I White (10)

This was the final race in the Sep-Oct series and the series podium is:

1st - J Bennett (7)

2nd - C Wilson (12)

3rd - I White (18)

Well done to them and to all 12 sailors who participated in the series.

Best wishes,

Bruce
