DF65 Racing Results 4-Jun'25

11 sailors arrived at Lakeside to compete in the 3rd round of the May-Jun series (racing on 21-May having been cancelled). Chris set a course of R/1, P, A, Y, P, A, Y, 8/4 and 9 heats were raced. The mainly westerly wind at times caused submarining and broaching, and combined with the lulls particularly around "P" made for interesting sailing. 46's battery died during heat 5, and 43 and 51 had to leave early. There were some very close finishes and others where there could be 2 legs between first and last, but in all an enjoyable and challenging morning's sail. Those who managed the conditions the best were:

1st - R Dyer (11)

2nd - R Brydges (19)

3rd - I White (22)

Congratulations to them!

Best wishes,

Bruce
