DF65 Racing Results 8-Oct'25

8 skippers arrived just in time (due to adverse traffic conditions) to compete in the 6th round of the Sep-Oct series. Chris set a course of P/R, Y, P, R, Y, P, 3/A but after the first race this was changed to 3/A, R, A, P, R, 3/A to save having to sail back to the start line. The wind was pleasantly sailable, but only for the last heat. For the rest of the time it was variable and if there had been any smoke it would have been rising vertically. We did manage 7 heats (just) and so earned 1 discard. JB was sailing no. 44 and CW changed boats at the coffee break and both managed podium places (1st and 2nd respectively) with IW 3rd.

Well done to all for staying the course!

Best wishes,

Bruce
