DF65 Racing Results 9 August'23

With the wind calm and the gusts almost non-existent 12 skippers looked hopefully to the skies for an improvement. A short course of A/1,4,Y,A,4/Y was set and the first race completed. With a little more wind an extra lap was added and that enabled another 5 races. In order to get 8 in total, the last two reverted to 1 lap. Racing was slow, and sometimes frustrating as windshifts and lulls played their part, but an enjoyable morning was had by all. It was good to see Derek again, although he had to leave after 4 races.

Those mainly in the right place at the right time were:

1st - I White (28)

2nd - J Richardson (43)

3rd - R Dyer (25)

Congratulations to them.

Best wishes,

Bruce
