DF65 Results 27 July '22

Many thanks to Julyan for providing both the score sheet and the commentary.

11 competitors braved the elements through calm and rain (for a few races anyway) - damp, but warm.

Course 'A' (OB/2,8,OW,OB,4,8,OW,OB,2,5/8 held for the first race, a modified finish line to 4/OR(off the pier) made course 'B' for races 2 and 5-8 and course 'C' (races 3 and 4) took out mark 4 and for 2nd/final leg to finish 8/OR (a tricky, short line which took some beating to).

Apart from line duties, skippers had plenty to do race and fleets being close and converging especially at marks. Extra time enabled an 8th race to be held in the most consistent breeze of the morning thus far.

Best wishes,

Bruce
