IOM 10th February '23 Race 5

Things got off to a cold start as the sail committee postponed racing until 1030 hrs.

So we had plenty of time to design a course, rig boats, exchange news, and appraise the efforts of other skippers up and down the line. The faint Easterly breeze gave sway to something stronger from the North and West, prompting the racing to commence. Following two, one lap races, course 'A' got an upgrade:- OR/1 Start - (4 - RB - OR - WZ) x 2, Fin. 4/Y. With ten boats on the the water, the short course racing kept the fleet close and in sharp focus.

Top Points to:- 1st Place - #15 RD, 2nd - #06 CW, 3rd - #80 JB.
