IOM 10th March Race 2

Six stalwart skippers turned out to race the second round in the club's metre boat series.

A capful of wind and ne'er a baggy-wrinkle in sight, six rigs both Top (1) and 'B' (5) were tried and tested during the course of the morning, to which the results do surely attest.

The more or less windward-leeward course was set, to engage existing marks 3 and 7, with Orange/Black to weather of 7 :- Start 6/OB - (3 - 7 - OB) x 2 Fin' 4/Yellow. Races were closely contended, and quick in a stiff NE breeze with its contingent squalls arriving in short notice. Consistency and endurance having their own rewards: making today's top players :-

1st Place - #80 JB, 2nd - #85 TR, 3rd - #59 IW
