IOM 11th July Race 2

Six stalwart skippers arrived to light morning airs. Ian set a course for the duration of nine races, with one mark omitted following the second race:

BO/YX - 7 - 1 - BO - 7 - 1 - 4/8. The breeze soon filled in from the South making sailing practical right across the lake. Plenty of room for tactical error of course. Beach shoes came in handy for one competitor whose boat grounded with mains'l akimbo. Five more races were completed after the comfort break; a fine day's  raisin'.

Top three:- 1^st Place - #16 JR(10); 2nd - #28 IW(15); 3rd - #85 TRS(15).
