Racing Results 24-Jun'26

Many thanks again to Roger for providing today's racing details.

Blazing heat and a decomposing rat on the grass near the middle bench greeted a brave triumvirate of skippers for the final heat of the May/June series. The breeze was roughly north and at times provided for a nice steady sail. A long start line was established between Pink and 6 and after experimenting with 4 as a windward mark, Big Orange was used, followed, again after some experimentation, by 6 and then 7. An early start was made and two hydration breaks were taken and much needed. Stumps were drawn at 1135 after eight races to allow all concerned to go home and take the afternoon off to recuperate.

The final May-Jun leaderboard podium is:

1st - I White (9)

2nd - J Bennett (14)

3rd - C Wilson (15)

Congratulations to them and to all 13 sailors who took part in the series.

Next Wednesday we will hold the first race in the Jul-Aug series.

Best wishes,

Bruce
